The HALO™ for the 2013 Isuzu KB250 Single-Cab was designed using the same methodology as the Double-Cab and Sport Utility Vehicle HALO™ designs to protect front seat occupants. The single cab design adds reinforcements to the B pillars and rear panel to substitute for the rear compartment structure of the dual cab design. The reinforcement to the B pillar is more robust than in the dual cab and the rear panel reinforcement anchors the rear roof attachment feet of the longitudinal members of the HALO™ previously provided by the feet of the rear HALO™ of the dual cab configuration. A further set of anchors and compensation for lateral match boxing forces is provided by a cross member and roll hoop attached to the rear of the cab and tied in to the B-Pillar reinforcements, a replacement C-pillar structure.
